Seriously, what the hell was I thinking?

It is dark and it is night. It is easier to answer these questions in the best environment, where the shadows grow into things we do not know and where the light has a place, somewhere else. We ask questions and seek truths, but do we really need the answers and the knowledge? These things beget more mysteries.

"Make it stop raining.
"

"No, you."

"I would, if you'd tell me how."

"Well, you have to know the Dance."

"Oh? Go on."

"Then you have to dance the Dance, with the proper Reverence. Around a great Fire.
[Pause]
...This is difficult to do while it is raining, but it must be done."
[Catches breath]
"During the Dance you must also raise your voice in Supplication, to the Ones Who Came Before.
Raise your voice until it becomes a Voice, so They will Hear.
They may choose not to hear, so make sure your Words are Enticing."

[Laughter, ignore this]

"It would help if there is some sort of Drum...maybe others Humming."

[No more laughing]

"Intense."

"You asked."

...

It will resound finely,

The sky,

When I come

make a noise.

Said the Siren to the Sailor

Hey lover,
When do I get to see
Those shining eyes,
Those lovely limbs,
Hear that virtuous voice?

When do we get to rekindle
The old flames?

You know I'm lonely, lover,
Why do you stay so far
Just out of reach?

I still have your words, lover,
They'll keep me 'til you step out
Across the waves
Until you swim to my open arms.
